"The main thing that struck me about playing last year was the professional setup onstage - SM talking back to the FOH engineers (well, even having an SM is a luxury compared to some festivals), good monitors and making sure monitor mixes were OK and when I wandered out front, the FOH sound was tight and crisp. It was the best technical setup I've ever encountered at a 'smaller' festival. Added to that was the friendly and attentive people looking after the artists - there was nothing to fault in the whole gig. That in mind, you've already got an excellent reputation with me, so if we need anything in the South, you'll be the first call.
