Just occasionally an event might require something a little out-of-the-ordinary; something that might have others shrugging their shoulders and scratching their heads.

Origin Technical Productions prides itself on its can-do problem-solving attitude and providing the best solution within budget for props, special set builds and other constructions.

Festival beach volleyball court

The top four images show the creation of a 8m x 16m beach volleyball court constructed for Warborough Festival 2010 using 28 tonnes of RH37 bunker sand.

Christmas lighting features

The Chjristmas lighitng in the Market Square within Oxford Castle was enhanced by an automated fixture creating a large snowflake image moving within the Square. The Castle Mound and Prison Round Tower were also lit with a varying programme of moving snowflake images from two further roof-mounted automated fixtures.

The automated moving-head fixtures were mounted in our own purpose-designed and custom built weatherproof enclosures — just as well, as on-board sensing recorded external temperatures below -12°C during the coldest December on record!
