Temporary architectural lighting & effects

OTP's lighting stock includes many IP55 and IP65 rated fixtures such as LED battens and outdoor parcans; as well as custom enclosures, lighting towers, DMX show recorders and the necessary power distribution equipment to install temporary lighting and seasonal effects for archectural environments.

The colour of Love

A combination of free-standing LED battens around the entrance and roof, plus Cantata fixtures mounted in an OTP lighting tower, painted the facade of Malmaison red for the Valentines Day weekend.

Christmas lighting features

Two areas within Oxford Castle were enhanced with additional Christmas lighting features. The Market Square with IP65 LED battens and parcans controlled by recorded programming; and an automated fixture creating a large snowflake image moving within the Square. The Castle Mound and Prison Round Tower were also lit with a varying programme of moving snowflake images from two further roof-mounted automated fixtures.

The automated moving-head fixtures were mounted in our own purpose-designed and custom built weatherproof enclosures — just as well, as on-board sensing recorded external temperatures below -12°C during the coldest December on record! See our Special Projects page...
